things that motivated me in the beginning

One thing I did many years ago to stay motivated is to watch Body for Life Success Stories and Body of Work Videos. I would watch part of these videos when I was working out or when I was not wanting to workout.. they really motivated me! I have since loaned these videos out and it was so many years ago I cant remember who I loaned them to.. that is why I was thrilled to find clips of both videos on youtube tonight.. Here's a sampling. :) "We don't own our bodies.. we rent them" wow. I always wondered what happened to the Brunners. It was 10 years or more ago that they participated in the first BFL challenge.. Looked what I found.. they are in Canada.. with their own company :) Find more videos like this on The Kinetix Community and speaking of Bill Phillips.. Look whats coming out in March of 08.

100lbs! what a great last day of 07!

Happy New Years Eve Everyone! I just completed my workout.. and it feels soooooo great to have it done before noon (LOL).. I can tell I am slowly getting back to normal :) yipee! I slept allll night last night and of course that means my dd slept all night too! So happy we are almost well! PRAISE the LORD! OK.. heres my workout.. LEGS today Squats: max out point was 100lbs 8 times!!! wooooooWHO! I havent done 100 in probably over a year!~ so.. thats progress :) Leg Extensions: max point was 65lbs 8 times (for those of you who dont know leg extensions work the upper thigh muscle :) Leg Curls: max point was 50lbs 6 times (was spose to do 8 but 6 was all i could get :) (leg curls work the hamstring) I am thrilled with the 100lb mark :) What a great way to end 2007! tomorrow is cardio.. I might have to get up early to celebrate and run outside :) I have really been enjoying the book I am reading.. and will do a short post about it later.. Yesterday is today :) (update x's3)

OK.. so all the things I had planned for yesterday are on todays list.. first thing down was taking pictures. I will start taking weekly progress pictures.. every Sunday until my Blitz is over.. here are the pictures from this morning I am very excited about seeing progress in my abs! .. I am beginning to actually believe a six pack is possible :).. (all i want for my 40 th birthday is a 6 pack) I have created in the side bar a weekly picture page.. and will post these there as well so as the weeks pass i can track my progress :) See you after while once I get more things accomplished :) (update) Eats: 1. oj and almonds 6 dark choc chips 2. beef stew with 2 small pieces of cornbread tea UPDATE #2 Workout updates: just finished my push-up workout.. 20, rest, 15, rest, 15, rest, 13, rest and 20 collapse .. all that planning.. posting

well.. all that planning and posting ... and no workout today.. I am just soooo tired. lack of sleep is NOT a good thing my plan is to have tomorrow be my today. and then i am back on track so i plan on eating supper .. laying around and going to bed early. ... and pray for a restful night for myself and my dd. . still happy about my 4s :) .. so all is good.. I just need to rest.

Sometimes AND Inspiration! (updated)

Sometimes things dont go as planned. Seems especially true for me these days. Yesterday i had totally planned to work out and eat right.. but.. I ended up not even preparing a single meal.. for breakfast we went to a little hamberger joint and i picked up breakfast for everyone.. then lunch My in-laws brought over stew.. and last night was fried shrimp at their house.. I ate with them and A and her family who are on their way back home... and then brought shrimp home for my family.. so eats.. totally off. My daughter is still sick.. two nights in a row of not much sleep cause she has developed a cough.. go cough meds yesterday for her and it seemed to help a bit but she still had a rough night last night.. and we are now just getting up for the day and its almost 11am! (crazy huh?) , but I guess when we are sick we sleep when we can. I had a great visit with A (my sister in law) last night and stayed out late to see her.. we were spose to get to spend more time together over the...

Photo Phriday?

yes today is photo phriday so i will post photos later today :) I wanted to share a book i just got at the library that a healh /fitness minister (who use to be by boss.. and .. by the way was the first person to tell me about Body for Life all those many years ago) the book is called "What the Bible Says about Healthy Living" by Dr. Rex Russell click here to go to amazon and read an excerpt if you are interested. I will begin reading it today and will do a "review" when I am finished and let you know that I think :) I am so sore from lifting weights on Wednesday.. I am happy and surprised that the altering of my workouts seem to be producing some more muscle :) My eats have been hit and miss but to be honest i don't know if i have the determination to eat clean when everyone is sick. I was up most of the night with my sweet daughter who was coughing and just miserable . So that caffeine was calling my name this morning to just get moving.. it seems lack of sle...

UPDATE #3 just did my pushup test.. I did 24 mens pushups and that was allll i could do.. wow.. that's exhausting :) .. so.. that means i start at week 3 doing the middle column. .. I am so excited about this pushup training site! .. I would love to be able to do 100 on my 40th.. that in september! .. goal for this challenge is to do 50 by March 24th.. Is that to many? dont know but i am going to try.. I figure after march 24 i will then have 6 months to make it to 100 by my birthday. :).. .. UPDATE #2 1012pm note to self.. dont leave sugar cookie dough in the house unless its free day :) and just because someone brings you awesome homemade bread doesnt mean you have to slather it with all kinds of butter and eat two pieces :) .. Tea's Pushup Challenge

I have signed on for Tea's push up challenge. . she has some great links.. but this one is my favorite! takes you from what ever level you are at and gives you a schedule to improve :) and wouldnt it be just amazing to be able to do allll these : k off to make breakfast for the family.. then will get a run in before 3 today :) will post later..

Flu update

Dear Daughter has the flu too now.. I have tamiflu meds for her and the boys who have not gotten it yet.. hoping and praying it keeps them from getting sick.. long day.. ready for a healthy house hold.. its been crazy around here..

This morning I had a great conversation with my sweet sis.. .. she is such an encourager to me and she told me I should post a bit of a blog about some of the things we talked about.. some of what I have learned along the way and just some stories about my journey. First of all.. this is me. I am who I am and I am in control of what I will become. Now the above statement might sound like no big deal, but there was a time where I would have never said that. I wasnt in control of my life, I was spinning out of control and just letting the little train of life take me wherever it wanted. There is a saying: "If you dont control your life, someone else will." Now I know part of being truly happy is taking control of my life, grabbing the wheel and going where I want to go. Now. I am not talking about being selfish, I am talking about living MY life and dreaming MY dreams.. and not depending on others to do it for me. With that being said.. here are a few "stories or ruthieism...

Blitz weight lifting session #7 (updated)

I just finished workout #7 of the blitz.. squats, leg extensions and straight leg deadlifts . I will be sore tomorrow :) eats are on for today .. 1. orange juice (because of Sarah's post :) 2. ham and 1 wasa wafer, 1/2 oj 3. ham and 1 wasa wafer, water 4. apple and peanut butter, water Todays plan is to get some eggs boiled (DONE) and chicken cooked (DONE) and plan what i will eat after 4 today.. I have 3 weeks left in my blitz and I am determined to make progress :) Had a GREAT talk with my sweet sis (who has as of today lost 40+lbs already!~ woooo whoo !)....... Last week of 07

What is your last week of 07 going to be like? I am hoping for progress.. progress in lots of areas this week.. After being sick. and then my DH being sick.. I am hoping and praying that this last week of 07 will be a well one! I am so encouraged by Josha's progress and it is so motivating to me to keep going and stay on track! After a day and a half of free eats I am so ready to be back to normal. I have had all the sugar cookies, chips, and sprite I want for a while :) .. My goals for this week are: get back on schedule with the workouts.. following the Blitz plan (the blitz workouts are doing some good things.. I am so sore from these workouts its crazy! :) focus, plan and be determined to do the blitz eats . which is no high carbs content after 4pm.. I have had ONE successful day with this and know .. I KNOW its the key to breaking my plateau.. question is.. do i want it bad enough to stick with with.. to stay on plan. Its not hard.. its a mindset and being prepared. so.. heres...

Sunday Blitz (UPDATE)

UPDATE: I am pretty happy with how today went.. off the coke and back on the water! Happy with my eats .. but need to plan a bit more.. tomorrow I will make some dips with cottage cheese to use as a quick snack.. and boil some eggs. I am not sure whether to have my free days as I had planned before i got sick (xmas eve and xmas day) or alter it a bit.. I will probably stick with it as planned except stay away from cokes. got a great workout in .. feeling sore already I am still very sore from the other days workout! hope a jog tomorrow will help that Still bad news is DH is still sick.. praying he is better tomorrow.. if not he goes to the doctor.. if they are open.. and now all i want for christmas is a healthy family! jumping, sore and eats...

I just finished about 10 mins of jump roping.. I was going to run on the treadmill but its in the low 30s out there and I still have a cough so decided jumping would be better. I am feeling totally back to normal.... my energy is back.. but I still have a bit of a cough. Bad news is DH is now coughing and having sinus issues.. and I am hoping its just allergies and not the virus i had :( concert was good last night.. had fun. I am so amazingly sore in my thighs its not EVEN funny!.. I thought i took it easy yesterday but I guess i ended up getting a really muscle building workout in ! .. hope i can walk tomorrow. :) will see you tomorrow after I lift..:) I also need a good kick in the pants to get back to my healthy eating.. when I was sick I did great for the first 5 days.. and then I slowly started reverting back to my old ways. Today I had a coke, and some spiced, banana friendship bread that I received at coop on Thurs. Last night I had popcorn and coke at the concert.. the story ...

I DO FEEL GOOD! Hurrah! YIPEE! Praise the LORD! I just finished my workout.. Friday Day 4 of my blitz..( EDIT THAT,.,. DAY 5 ) I am just starting back up where I left off.. and it feels sooooo great!.. I did squats, leg ext, and leg curls.. I skipped the calf extensions because I always get shin splints when i do those not matter how much stretching i do!.. but hey.. I"M BACK!.. so happy.. eats are off.. but hoping tomorrow to get a menu planned and things bought for next week. other great news.. we got our garage/gym cleaned out again.. it seems the garage is my dumping ground for the rest of the house.. when I declutter the house.. and the clutter goes to the garage until we can get it donated.. we gave a really cool round chair away cause we just dont have room.. and a desk and other things.. but I am happy someone else can use them and it can help brighten their day.. I am thrilled we can get our car in the garage again and that means when its out is so clean!.. The kids can ...

Today? tomorrow? or next week?

Well.. it wasnt today. I hope it will be tomorrow... and will be disappointed if its next week. (that is when i will actually get a workout in again) still have a cough.. felt tired all day.. taught all day.. had fun but am tired. .. Next time I post it will be after a workout. hope its tomorrow. signed, frustrated but determined to not let this illness knock me off my fitness wagon.

Blitz-redo (update)

ok.. I think i have decided what to do as far as my blitz.. I am just going to start right where i left off. I was only 3 days into it when i got sick.. today is wednesday so i will just pick up today where i left off and pretend like this past week never happened :) .. I havent looked at my schedule but i think it is weight lifting.... I will not workout until this afternoon.. but i am happy to say i feel good enough to lift today :) .. I was unable to go to the store yesterday cause we were busy unloading trucks ..... so I today shopping is on the list.. so.. reverting back to the no carbs after 4 but reg bfl on the rest of eats.. AND getting that water back in. Tryin to make it back

Good morning.. I think i might actually win this battle of virus vs body... so thats good.. I just read janelle's blog and see she is in her 14s!!! I am so excited for you Janelle! .. i am going to copy her post format today .. and get some things down on here so maybe i can feel like i have some things accomplished today. (nothing like laying on the couch or a week to make you feel like a slacker.) Promises to myself: no sugar today no crackers or bread (had while i was sick) drink a gallon of water (good for you even if you are not well) eat back on track (no more skipping meals) Reminders to Myself: I have been sick.. need to take things slow Its just a week I have missed.. a week is only 6 workouts... 6 workouts out of the year is nothing.. i will still make progress. Making Progress

Well.. It seems I am making progress.. finally :) .. I have stopped running fever and dont feel as exhausted all the time. I didnt sleep that well last night but I felt good enough to get up and fix breakfast for the kids.. so.. its progress :) I will wait and see what my cough does .. hoping this doesnt turn into asthma like i have had before.. :) .. I am just happy i feel better.. i have such cabin fever its crazy.. tired of laying on that couch.. it was so beautiful outside yesterday I was just wishing i could go out and run.. but know I need to take easy and get back into my workouts slowly.. .. (maybe i will actually like the rest time between sets now :) hehhe..

REDICULOUS (UPDATE)

feeling like this sickness will never end!.. started running fever again tonight around 7.. after feeling so good all day.. signed.. extreeeeemly frustrated. ( and cold, the hot and cold then hot.. etc) r Sat morn update its bronchitis. just got home from doc.... shot, meds, and a chest xray on monday if I am not better... more in a day or so when i feel better. yall keep on truckin for me.. Feeling Better (finally)

wow.. I think I finally beat the virus.. .. I havent had fever since 9pm last night or so last night but was concerned that it still might come back to day .. but so far so good.. I still have a slight dry and annoying cough but other than that I feel 100% better! I really dont have much of an appetite but a milled flax seed shake sounds good .. so i will use my NEW BLENDER DH ordered for me .. it came in the mail today! ... he said it got great reviews.. and the only bad thing said was it was loud. .. we are use to loud so thats ok.. I am sure it will blow away my 15 year old 30.00 leaking blender .. :) .. My plan today is to get all packed up and every thing ready to go so we can we can leave before 7 in the morning. We have my side of the family's Christmas get together around 1 tomorrow.. so we will be driving right into a party :) .. We will pack lunches so i should be on target for eats on the way down.. I did have crackers when I was feeling bad but it is interesting that...

well.. I feel better then i feel worse.. started running fever AGAIN at 3ish after having none all day... it got up over 102..stayed that way for almost 3 hours WITH Tylenol in me! .. no telling what it would have been without the medicine. crazy. .. I just now started feeling better again and hope and pray its for good now.. going to bed .. but I am so sick and tired of being sick. was spose to leave tomorrow but will call MandD in the morning and let them know I wont leave until Sat morning.. If I am well.. being sick just sucks.. I dont do sick well. missing my energy and strength. r

Is it Day 4? (blitz)

UGh.. what a horrible 24 hours I just has.. but I am happy to say that my fever broke last night and I woke up this morning with normal temp. I am not sure what i had but it was not fun having 102 plus fever.. I am hoping and praying this normal temp means i am done. I am not teaching today since I was running fever last night so i will see how today goes as to whether I feel like working out. I didnt do abs yesterday y and pretty much lost my appetite and actually sent DH to the store for crackers and apple juice... I havent had a cracker in months! .. I thought it was funny that was the only think that sounded good.. ok.. all for now.. off to take it easy.. hopefully I am done with this... *except for a bit of a cough heres an article on on working out when sick.. more later.. Blitz Day 3-bummer (UPDATED x2)

yeah ..well.. not feeling too hot.. had chills (fever?) last night.. headache this morning but after eating and some Tylenol I actually feel better .. hope this is just a 24 hour thing like Cat (my dd) had a few weeks ago.. I have too much to do.. I cant be sick. eats today: lean ham (small amount), egg, and wheat tortilla apple juice (6 oz) and handful of almonds Salad with chicken and hot sauce, tea hoping to be able to workout today.. but will take it easy if I dont feel like it. ... Hope you all are 100%.. feel great for me today.. ok .. UPDATE 156pm happy to say I am feeling better.. not 100% but feeling good enough to lift.. and get ready for the trip on Friday... ) ... blitz day 2 (747pm UPDATED)

Bad news is my eye doctor has the stomach flu. Good news is our appointments are rescheduled for next week :) making my ultra busy day only a busy day. I woke up this morning early and should have just got my workout done but decided to do a bit of laundry and scrub the toilet instead. Nothing like having a clean toilet to make your day seem successful :) hehe.. so heres my plan for today: Dentist app at 10ish.. then home for lunch I will workout with weights between sometime between 1 and 3.. and will be cleaning the house for the party tonight.. I will need to do Hiits before the party cause I dont know how long everyone will stay and visit.. so.. i will do those either right after my workout OR around 5.. I plan on jumping rope today :) Eats went good yesterday but I am going to have to do some shifting of my salad to the evenings and make sure I have eggs boiled as a protein source at night.. Blitz day one report

did strength test this morning ate great all day but its hard to get all the water in for some reason.. Janelle how do you do it ? just finished running HIITS.. 20 min session.. feel great! Loved Joshas new video on her blog! I have a busy day tomorrow. I have chest, shoulders, and tris tomorrow.. A dentist appointment for my son who doesnt like the dentist.. Bitz Day 1 (updated)

Its a beautiful cold morning here as I thought i would get a post up while i wait for my pre-workout shake to settle. :) Here are my goals for today: Drink pre workout meal (done) measure take photos do strength testing (done) Drink Post workout meal (the other half of my shake) Drink a Gallon of water eat on track and on time Post eats Eats: (red is done) PreWOMeal: 1/2 Orange Juice, yogurt and protein shake PoWOM: other half of shake Lunch: Green salad with chicken breast, sun seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, toms. .. easy on the dressing, wasa bread ,, water Snack: Almonds 8 choc morsels, water Snack: apple peanut butter water will jump hiits in a few mins.. Adveristy- Its still a choice

The question is what do we do with adversity when it hits our own lives? When it becomes personal? I will admit I have not had that much adversity in my life.. not compaired to a lot of people. But we all have things that can hold us back, right? .. I have decided to make a post about overcoming adversity so I can look back on it when I get discouraged..... Small things can spoil our progress and make us want to quit: a sick child(ren) a sore toes aching muscles hurting feet a cold THE cold finals putting other things before our plans to succeed (church activities, running our kids here and there, or those TV shows we cant miss or a book we just HAVE to finish) housework work-work you get the idea? Holiday Blitz

Introducing my the next challenge for myself. After doing BFL for 18 months I am wanting to change up my workouts and eats just a bit to see if I can get myself to a new level. This will be a four week challenge for me. I am following the Maximum Growth Four Week Blitz which is created by Shawn Phillips . If you have read Joshas blog she discovered it and we are happily going to do this together! Please let me explain that I in NO WAY want to discourage anyone from continuing or starting Body for Life. Body for Life is the Life for me! .. This Christmas Blitz program I am doing will just be a mini (hard) challenge and then my plan is to start another round of BFL on Jan 7th(ish). I dont know how much you have read on getting "cut" but one thing is that is good to change things up a bit every once in a while. This program is close to BFL.. but a few changes" I will still eat 6 times a day but be more conscious of my timing on eats, carb intake and portion size. I will no...

hair cut pic

heres a shot of my new do.. I got a couple of inches cut off the back. I like it but since we talk alot about goals on here I have a goal for my hair:) I decided a few weeks ago while in church that I dont want to be an old lady with short hair. I saw a row of sweet older ladies, and some not so old.. but it's just not a style I envision for myself.. ... and if I end up with short hair as an older lady.. it will probably be purple or orange or bright red.... I refuse to be a typical older woman :) So... even though I got it cut.. its with the future of growing it out in mind.. .. into longer layers.. so maybe by this time next year i will be well on my way to lengthier locks :) Over 40 and longer hair is ok .. see: so.. heres to change.. "HAIR's" the picture :) More later on my plan for the next few weeks after while..

Free Day Isnt Free for Me!

I ran around campus this afternoon.. with 5 Hiits at the end of the run. It felt great. It was cool (40s) and humid (misting) outside. I dressed to warm without the ability to shed layers ex. for my stocking hat.. so I need to remember to wear a zip up sweatshirt next time I run. My " freeday " started last night. We ordered Pizza. I had two slices of all veggie pizza.. for some reason i have an aversion to peperoni's and other meats ex for chicken... .. anyway.. I had the two slices and then some cinn . sticks without the cream cheese topping (its just tooo sweet). I also had a Sprite (8oz) even though he brought home a dp AND a coke.. This morning we went to a little local cafe.. I had a bacon and egg burrito (no cheese) and three bites of biscuits and gravy. After I ran this afternoon (around 12:30) I felt so great! .. and then... all of a sudden.. it HIT ME! I "DECLARE" I have become Alergic to Freeday !.. really sore!!!! (update)

wow.. I am really sore from yesterdays sprints and jumping!.. My thighs are screaming and my calves are screaming back. I have decided to wait until this afternoon to lift lower body weights to give my legs a bit of a rest. I haven't been this sore since the LAST time I ran hard sprints with my kids on the intramural field about a year ago! Sprints work! wow. I think if I even tried to do a squat right now I would just fall baackwardddd ! :) so here is the plan for today. stay on track with eats.. clean house, do a bit of schooling, take kids to PE and then skating, and lift weights when I get back.. around 4pm. I might have to walk on the treadmill or take the dog for a light jog before lifting though..to loosen up. remembering...sore is good! Update: really busy day... pe , skating, and then I got my hair cut and brows waxed! The last bread I had was on Sunday! .. almost a week ago!.. so my question is.. do I try and go a whole week with NO bread OR do I eat some on my freeday? .. hum.. and I cant remember the last time I had a saltine cracker.... and THAT's amazing. .. I was so addicted to crackers! .. and to think I cant remember the last one I had! wow. on...

I just finished jumping rope.. I decided to just do 10 mins this morning and I will do 10 mins when i get home today... I could really feel it in my legs and I was so sore last time with just 10 mins I thought I should take it slow. I did a bit of ab work... and will do more when I get back.. I stayed up a bit later than I planned.. working on Art History Game Questions for the game we are going to play today :) .. so i didnt get up until 650 this morning... Planning on eating good today.. no excuses.... and this is my 4th day in a row with no soda or caffine of any kind.. I DD2-end of day update

eats list #1 pint and a 1/2 of water , 1/2 protien #2 Apple with peanut butter, pint of water ! #3 Salad with Chicken, nuts, and dressin, pint of water #4 almonds with 5 dark choc morsels, straw.banana yogurt flaxseed smoothie, pint of water #5 Taco Stew and one small peice of cornbread (probably shouldnt have eaten that huh) but was without butter! :) pint of water! #6 Strawberry Protein Shake . 5 Pint of water the picture to the side is a 8 .5 liter bottles of water. It the closest image I could find on how many bottles (in pints) I need to drink today.. my goal: 8 pints of water :) ruthie's drink- o-meter "8 bottles of water are one the wall take one down, drink it down, 2 bottles of water on the wall':) hehe So I left 2 bottles of water on the wall today! but I tried hard! .. I guess with the fluid in my shake I am really close to a gallon anyway.. but I will try harder next time.. The problem is I am peeing sooooooo much! There is NO WAY I can drink that much at coop...

I Declare! day 2 (IDD2)

slept GREAT last night.. could it be that the family is finally well? hope so. drank my water first thing this morning but I woke up hungry... so I had half a protein bar to tide me over until after I lifted. I am realizing when I lifted weights first thing in the morning many years ago it was at 6am.. and it seemed just wasnt hungry.. but with staying up later and sleeping later (on a different schedule now).. I do need to eat a tad before lifting. My workout was fantastic this morning! chest press on smith machine followed by flies side raised for shoulders with no burnouts cause I could feel a twinge when I did press and I have to be cautious with my right shoulder.. (too many throws from catcher to second base when i was a kid I guess:) and tri extensions with dips as my burnout (wow) I also did abwork as i didnt do it last night. and I think I just switch it to this day anyway for a while. so happy to have it done.. and it worked out great.. I waited until the kids had breakfast...

Declare Challenge day one completed!

and I was successful! my eats: #1 apple and peanut butter, 5 almonds water (an hour after I ran) #2 Salad with boiled eggs, nuts, and a wasa bread, water #3 a banana smoothie that Angell said was great.. and it IS. Heres a link. (the family LOVED it! .. thanks Angell!) I made a whole serving and split it between the three kids, my DH and myself. I ate a few almonds with it.. and water #4. lean pork (left overs) sweet tato baked fries #5 another one of the shakes from above but I added ice and protien powder.. it was too thick but my DD said it was her favorite :).. #6 no meal 6 today but I am so happy with how I did.. allllll water .. and will keep track tomorrow of how much I drink.. more tomorrow morning after i lift weights :) ahh.. nice to have a good day!

ok. I will be soo happy if I finally figured this video thing out.. I LOVE watching Janelles video and some of the others and I would do youtube but I am a bit scared of making my video's public.. just blog to blog publicity is hard enough on me.. Its still hard on me knowing that other people are seeing my photos.. but I am trying to get use to it.. and remind myself its ok.

I Do Declare!.. -challenge- *UPDATED*

OK.. so I am starting a "I DO Declare" challenge for myself today .. .. after writing the previous post I realized that part of my lack of going down any more sizes is directly related to not doing the program 100%. Heres what i mean: Cardio: .. Bill says to do 20 mins of Hiits.. first thing in the morning before breakfast after drinking a glass of water.. this is what I USE to do.. I USE to wake up at 530 or 6 and get cardio out of the way. If I remember correctly the reason to do it this way is because it burns something like 300% more fat! ... now THATS a reason to get up early! .. Bill also suggests waiting an hour after cardio to eat.. so that's what I will begin doing again :) I Do declare .. starting today.. I will do cardio first thing in the morning .. (well right after this post) and I will wait one hour after cardio to eat. Weight lifting: I have gotten away from lifting weights first thing in the morning too.. I think this is the best way to go cause it 1. g...
