14!

another busy day today .. but a good day. This morning I took the kids to the state park to go swimming... The kids had a great time.. and it was great to visit with my sweet friend. ..

I came home tired.. I think because I didnt eat enough at lunch.. so.. I rested while watching a recorded episode of the biggest looser .. it was so inspiring!

I then did a bit of cleaning and got ready to ride as soon as my DH came home. Heres my eats and workout for today:

eggs and toast
2 slices of ham with mustard and a few chips, 1 cheeto :) 1/2 of a new peanut butter nutrition bar
a whole peanut butter nutrition bar
chicken with bbq sauce, peas and green beans, 1 piece of bread
will have a shake tonight

cardio today
10.5 miles around campus I did this in 45 mins.. DH helped me figure out my average speed per hour and it was 14MPH! not bad for an old gal huh?(esp in 90plus degree heat and it was windy!)
after the 10.5 around campus and back i needed to cool down so I came home and go the pup and took her for a mile around the neighborhood. So my total mileage for today was 11.5 :) I am tired but I feel so great!


I am looking forward to tomorrow .. starting free day at lunch.. getting to go out to eat at a steak house and then to a movie (Transformers) .. I have been craving movie theater pop corn so I will probably eat a very lite lunch and fill up on popcorn :)

ok.. I got an invite to my reunion.. at first glance i automatically thought.. NOPE.. dont want to go.. 150.00 to eat a dinner, have a DJ/casino night and see people I have not seen for 20 years.. ugh.. but on a second thought.. I think it might be ok.. I have a while to think about it I guess.. but if I do go.. what will I wear? I have NO idea!....

OK.. all for now.. Need to go clean the kitchen and I AM getting in bed early tonight!
OH.. and I am sooo tired that I am just going to go to bed.. i will do ab work in the morning after lifting.. josha.. what is the Abvac anyway?

abvac: lie on your back and exhale all of the air from your lungs, pulling your abs in and up underneath your rib cage. Hold, then inhale and release. It's one of the absolution exercises. Takes a while to get a feel for it, but it works all the ab muscles.
for what it's worth, I really enjoyed my 20th reunion. I'm not the socialite (word from the 80's for you), but I was in town and decided to go. People are fat and bald and much more humble. Everyone was glad to see everyone. I wore a denim skirt and a very feminine, airy top with strappy sandals. I wasn't my heaviest, but not as fit as now. I think it would be great fun to go now!
